History

Vial Equipment Sales & Services is a Company that was formed in the United States in 1992 as a machinery and equipment broker. Two years later, in 1994 it was moved to Chile where more professionals with a vast experience in the field of service to construction and mining machinery joined the company. This experience enables Vial Equipment S & S to obtain an exclusive, international contract for post sales service for cranes, excavators and articulated trucks, from the Link-Belt brand from January 1999 until December of 2000 for all those machines sold out of the United States.

At the same time, Vial Equipment Sales and Service became one of the 25 companies in the world to form part of the Board of Directors of the National Commission of Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) in the United States. This being  the only certification agency approved by OSHA (Organization of Safety and Health Administration).

Beginning in September of 2010, Vial Equipment becomes a member of CCAA (Crane Certification Association of America).

Vial Equipment worked with the Minera Spence S.A. until December 2012, and then participated in the OGP1 Project corresponding to Minera Escondida until December of 2014. At the same time, they also collaborated on the EWS Project, also part of Minera Escondida. Also, the company serviced Minera El Abra, Codelco (El Teniente Division), Antucoya Project, Minera Sierra Gorda, Minera El Tesoro, Minera Lomas Bayas, Pucobre and Vecchiola Company.

In 2015, Vial Equipment inaugurated it’s new offices, both in Santiago and in Antofagasta.
